The commitment of the Department of Athletics is to enhance the student experience and to provide quality programs that are competitive, fun and meaningful in an atmosphere that promotes success within the spirit of fair play, sportsmanship and integrity./ppThe Department of Athletics Esports Graduate Assistant position shall support the student-athlete experience by executing duties directly related to the success, engagement, and retention of JV student-athletes through academic and personal mentorship and individual athletic and technical development./ppstrongEssential Duties Responsibilities/strong/pulliServe as a direct contact for Indiana Tech Athletics and appropriate sports as assigned, including, but not limited to the following: olliSupervising and running gameday operations, including set up and tear down of equipment, game stats, PA announcing, photography, etc./liliMedia publications for games/events (writing stories/articles, creating graphics)/liliCommunicating with media/opponent schools/conferences to coordinate game/event tasks/liliMaintaining athletic website and social media accounts/liliOverseeing/managing student employees/li/ol/liliSupport the recruitment and enrollment goals of the sport program and Department of Athletics;/liliSupport the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Tech/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongQualifications/strong/pulliBachelors degree required/liliValid Operators License and a good driving record required/liliHave current First Aid/CPR training; or the ability to obtain such before employment/li/ulpstrongExperience/strong/pulliPrior participation experience with a sports program (ex. playing, managing, supporting)/liliGeneral understanding of most sports/liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs and photography/li/ulpstrongWorking Conditions/strong/pulliNights and weekends required/liliTravel for competitions required/li/ulpA resume is required in the application process./p/div
