  • Commit to 300 hours between May-September 2026 (we're flexible on start and end dates)
  • Show up ready to be energetic, creative, and part of a team that keeps the ballpark buzzing every single game.

  • Get fans involved and excited
  • Assist with marketing, sales outreach, and community initiatives while the team is on the road
  • Help run game-day operations
  • Take on a variety of tasks that keep the ballpark moving
You'll also rotate through other departments to see how every part of a professional baseball organization operates.
Department Highlights

  • Learn the ins and outs of our ticketing system
  • Help plan and run Baysox and non-baseball events
  • Assist with group outings and special event nights
  • Support the Group Sales and Ticket Operations teams with calling prospective fans
Marketing, Promotions, Community Outreach & Game Entertainment
  • Help coordinate pregame ceremonies (first pitches, anthem groups, color guards, and more)
  • Run on-field promotions and in-stadium entertainment
  • Assist with player and mascot appearances
  • Help with Kids Club events and new-member initiatives
  • Support school and education-based programs across MD and DC
Sponsorship
  • Help activate and support sponsor partners
  • Research new promotional ideas and partner leads
  • Help create and pitch sponsor-themed character promotions
  • Assist with Proof of Performance reports and sponsor events
The FUN Stuff
This internship isn't just about experience-it's about bringing the energy. Some of the most memorable parts of the job include:
  • Jumping into theme nights and ballpark celebrations
  • Standing on the dugout for birthdays and the Seventh Inning Stretch
  • Learning line dances and joining postgame festivities before fireworks
  • Helping fans create memories they'll talk about for years
  • Being yourself and showing off your personality to 5,000 people at a time
As an Orange Ambassador, you'll spend your summer helping bring the Baysox ballpark to life. From hyping up crowds to running promotions to creating unforgettable moments for fans, this is your all-access pass to the world of professional baseball.
