In this role, you will work alongside multidisciplinary professionals to design and deliver modern data solutions that support enterprise transformation. You will help build scalable platforms, analytics products, and data pipelines that enable mission-focused results and measurable client impact.

Work you'll do

Build and support cloud-based data and artificial intelligence solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for mission-driven client environments. The Data Engineer II will help design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines, platform components, and AI-enabled solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable. This role works with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and support ongoing platform performance and optimization.

As a Data Engineer II on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the development, testing, and deployment of applications and data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
  • Configure and maintain GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and Compute Engine
  • Assist with data preparation, feature engineering, model testing, and model evaluation activities
  • Monitor solution performance, troubleshoot production issues, and support optimization efforts
  • Document technical designs, implementation steps, and operational processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
