Job description

Southern Hills Country Club is a private, 27-hole facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Club is fully operational year-round featuring golf, tennis, dining, and fitness. Consistently recognized as one of the Top 50 golf courses in the world, the Championship Course was originally designed by Perry Maxwell and opened for play in 1936. Renowned golf course architect Gil Hanse completed a restoration of the 18-hole Championship Course in May 2019. World championship golf returned to Southern Hills in May 2021 for the Senior PGA Championship and again in May 2022 for the PGA Championship. Southern Hills will host the PGA Championship for a sixth time in 2032.
Southern Hills Country Club is looking for Golf Course Maintenance Interns who will, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents, participate in and help direct maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways and cart paths.
Educational Requirement: The successful candidates must be enrolled in 2-year or 4-year Turf Management degree program or certificate program, or hold a degree in a related field.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and to walk briskly and operate equipment continually for a period of several hours with or without accommodation.
