Job Description

This is an opportunity to meet challengesacross the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC)by collaborating with a development team to build web-based geospatial visualization and analysis applications with user centric design. You'll work with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using Node, Vue, or Angular. You'll work with the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Join us as we build systems to change the DoD or IC for the better.

Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript and a JavaScript framework, including Vue, AngularJS, or Dojo
  • 3 years of experience with using HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Foundation
  • Experience with server side application development using languages, including Java, PHP, or Python and Node.js environment
  • Experience with using Agile software development methods
  • Experience with usability analysis, testing, and client-facing engagements, including design discussions and product demonstrations
  • Knowledge of Web development, JavaScript, JSON REST, CORS, JSONP, Web architecture, and HTTP specification

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with ArcGIS Server/Portal and interoperability with custom web application
  • Experience working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT and the data and tools associated with these disciplines
  • Experience with a structured build, including Gulp or Grunt and NPM
  • Experience with testing frameworks, including Protractor, Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium
  • Experience with Linux scripting in BASH or Perl
  • Experience with using JavaScript libraries, including ArcGIS, jQuery, D3, or Leaflet
  • Experience with network security, including access and authorization for PKI and chain trusting
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab
  • DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification
