Job description

Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team
NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world's best athletes. It is a place to explore potential, obliterate boundaries and push out the edges of what can be. The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders and visionaries. At Nike, it's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.
Finance at Nike is unlike Finance at any other company because Nike is unlike any other company! Our Finance teams are strategic leaders who shape and enable sustainable, profitable growth by identifying the company's most critical opportunities and partnering across the enterprise to turn strategy into action. They influence decisions that move the business forward, aligning Nike around bold, forward-looking investments that strengthen our Brand and accelerate momentum across Innovation, Retail, Technology, Supply Chain, and beyond. Finance professionals at Nike operate as trusted thought partners-leveraging rigorous data analysis, advanced financial modeling, and sharp business judgment to deliver insights that guide complex, high-impact decisions. Their work directly informs how Nike allocates resources, manages risk, and delivers against long-term strategic priorities at a global scale.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:
Finance Interns are placed on teams where their work matters. You will partner with experienced Finance leaders and crossfunctional stakeholders to lead a defined project aligned to your team's most important business needs. While placement is finalized closer to the start of the internship, every intern is expected to operate with ownership, judgment, and influence-contributing insights that inform decisionmaking at scale. In addition to deep engagement within your team, you'll gain exposure to the broader Finance organization through enterprisewide initiatives, functional programming, and regular interaction with senior leaders.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Nike Finance is seeking MBA candidates who bring a strong foundation of prior professional experience, academic rigor, and a demonstrated ability to apply both in dynamic business environments. This internship is wellsuited for individuals who are progressing in their careers or making a deliberate transition and are interested in Corporate Finance and longterm development opportunities through a twoyear rotational program. Successful candidates demonstrate confidence, leadership potential, and the ability to add value through critical thinking, collaboration, and informed decisionmaking-contributing from day one, not simply observing.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:
In the NIKE, Inc. Summer Internship Program, you'll contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives that align with the NIKE, Inc. strategic roadmap.
Our goal for the Finance MBA Internship is to provide a meaningful, realworld experience that reflects the scope and expectations of a fulltime role at Nike. As a Finance MBA Intern, you will contribute to a defined, businessrelevant assignment aligned to your team's priorities, with opportunities to take ownership of specific components of larger initiatives. Your work will require you to dive deep into the business, apply structured problemsolving, and deliver insights that inform decisions and move the business forward.
Examples of project work may include:
  • Developing insights, actions, and KPIs to support rolling forecasts

  • Evaluating assortment productivity and performance drivers

  • Designing or enhancing processes to track and report technology investment outcomes

In addition to project ownership, you will collaborate closely with Finance leaders and crossfunctional partners through your team's daytoday work. This may include preparing and sharing timely financial analyses, interpreting results with senior team members, and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts. Through this partnership, you'll gain exposure to how Finance leaders influence decisions and translate analysis into action.
This is a 10-week paid internship opportunity with relocation assistance. Curious to know what it's like to be part of a world-class Internship Program? Check out our recap video from last summer: Nike Internship Program Recap Video
