Sales Market Research Intern - Austin, Fall 2026 (Remote possible)

Position Overview

The Sales Market Research Intern will support the sales team by conducting outbound research to verify venue information, programming schedules, booking contacts, and competitive intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, research, and business development. 

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain an accurate database of venue information that enables more effective sales outreach 
  • Research websites, social media platforms, and public resources to gather relevant insights
  • Contact venues via phone and email to verify programming schedules, booking contacts, and venue information
  • Assist with territory mapping and sales prospecting initiatives
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support outbound campaigns and strategic planning
Qualifications:
  • Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or related degree
  • Comfortable making outbound phone calls
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent note-taking abilities
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Confident speaking with venue managers and business owners
