Position Title: Full Stack Engineer
Position Type: Full-time, HYBRID
Location: Dayton, OH
Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Job Summary
The Full Stack Software Engineer will support by performing software activities focused on creating web-based tools aimed at decreasing user friction and improving usability of existing complex Modeling and Simulation systems. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and an eye for clean layouts, typography, and intuitive user workflows via personal portfolio or open-source contributions.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new capabilities
  • Resolve issues found in existing code
  • Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
  • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members
  • Communicate status and technical details with customers
  • Collaborate directly with the customer to drive requirements
  • Develop solutions based on customer needs and existing points of friction
  • Hybrid work schedule working at Dayton Ohio, WPAFB as customer needs dictate
  • Occasional out-of-state travel required for client events
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant STEM field
  • U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Ability to organize and clearly communicate complex technical details
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Experience with server-side languages, preference towards Python and/or C++
  • Strong preference with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks
