Available Shifts:
Weekday 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Weekday 3rd Shift - Sunday night - Friday morning 11:00pm - 7:00am
What You Will Do
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will use your skills to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on plant facilities and equipment, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing downtime. The hourly rate for this position starts at $35.81 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential (For 2nd and 3rd shift). This full-time position offers benefits including health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401K etc.
This role will offer a retention bonus. The bonus is paid in two installments at the end of each calendar quarter. New hires are eligible for the first installment at the end of the quarter in which they start.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Adjusting, installing, fabricating, repairing, and maintaining equipment like piping systems, machine drives, power conveyors, motors, and cranes.

  • Performing on-site repairs of hydraulic systems, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.

  • Utilizing machine tools, welding, cutting, soldering, and other technical skills to complete jobs.

  • Diagnosing mechanical malfunctions and determining corrective procedures.

  • Using precision checking tools such as lasers and portable power tools for precise alignments.

  • Working from sketches and blueprints to design, lay out, and fabricate special parts and equipment.

What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates will bring a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in a variety of maintenance tasks. Basic qualifications include:
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a similar environment.

  • Ability to pass a 2-hour Ramsay skills test.

  • Proficiency in welding, cutting, soldering, and brazing.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.

Physical Requirements
This position involves working near high-voltage electricity, molten metal, heavy equipment, and in confined or elevated spaces. Physical fitness is essential to safely perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree or diploma in a related field. •

  • Machine shop experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
