Position Summary

The High School Intern will support special projects within the Safety and Finance departments while gaining valuable exposure to business operations and professional workplace practices. This internship provides hands-on learning opportunities in a structured environment designed to help students develop administrative, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with departmental projects and initiatives within the Safety and Finance teams.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support business operations and project objectives.
  • Organize, enter, and analyze data using spreadsheets and other business tools.
  • Update reports, tracking logs, and department records as assigned.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Support documentation management and compliance-related activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, data entry, and document organization.
  • Participate in team meetings and learning opportunities to gain insight into business processes.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks under the direction and supervision of Company personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and records.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in high school.
  • Strong interest in learning about business operations, finance, or workplace safety.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
