Job Description

Edaptive Computing, Inc. (ECI) is currently seeking a Senior Hardware/Digital Verification Engineer. The Edaptive Computing Senior Hardware/Digital Verification Engineer develops and tests hardware using hardware verification tools.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Discuss and justify verification methodologies and application to customers’ needs
  • Works as a member of project teams to implement designs to meet customer requirements using Agile – SCRUM methodology
  • Stay current on trending development technologies and offer ideas for improvement to systems and processes
  • Knowledge of the use and application of simulation, emulation and formal methods in hardware verification
Qualitative Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware design/verification
  • Experience in Xilinx, Cadence, Synopsis, or Mentor Graphics Tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technological advances in EDA
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a project team
  • Experience and ability to act as a technical team lead
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excitement and eagerness to learn new technology
Educational and Experience Requirements
  • Masters degree or higher
  • Experience with SystemVerilog, PSL, Verilog or VHDL
  • Experience with TCL
  • Experience with object-oriented languages
  • Experience in development of DoD systems
  • Experience directing others as a lead engineer or equivalent role
  • Experience with formal methods
  • Experience with emulation systems
Enhancing Qualifications
  • Use of modelling and simulation tools such as ModelSim or ActiveHDL
  • Use of emulation systems such as Palladium or ZeBu
  • Use of model checking tools such as OneSpin
  • Ability to work in a dynamic government laboratory environment
  • Heavy emphasis on hardware verification using simulators, emulators and/or formal methods
  • Experience in Cybersecurity for DoD systems
  • Experience with ASIC and FPGA design tools
