Registered Dietitian

Role Summary:
Registered Dietitian to support comprehensive nutrition services, including home-delivered, congregate, and medically tailored meal programs. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving the health and well-being of patients by assessing nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating closely with the care team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient engagement, education, and innovative nutrition programming.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ nutritional needs and dietary restrictions, and work with current health plans to develop and implement individualized dietary-care plans.

  • Provide nutritional counseling and guidance to patients and their families on diet modifications, food selection, and preparation.

  • Educate individuals and groups on fundamental nutrition concepts, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to enhance quality of life.

  • Inspect meals to ensure compliance with prescribed diets and standards for taste, presentation, and quality.

  • Coordinate recipe development, standardization, and menu planning for food service operations.

  • Offer recommendations related to nutrition policy and meal program improvements.

  • Complete all administrative requirements, including documentation, chart entries, and attendance at meetings as needed.

  • Provide nutrition counseling through both in-person and remote sessions.

  • Maintain current training and ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or completion of an ACEND-accredited nutrition program.

  • Registered Dietitian license.

  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship or supervised practice experience.

  • Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel for patient visits.

  • ServSafe Certification within 180 days of hire.

  • Valid driver’s license.
