ESTHETICIAN|TAILWATER LODGE

Set on the scenic banks of the Salmon River, Tailwater Lodge, a Tapestry Collection by Hiltonโ„ข, offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and tranquil relaxation. From Orvis-endorsed fishing and shooting sports to our indoor pool, hot tub, and full-service spa, thereโ€™s something for everyone.


We are currently hiring an energetic, reliable, and guest-focused Esthetician to join our Spa Team! This is a part-time position with availability Friday through Monday, including evenings (until 7:00 PM) and weekends.


Our full-service spa features five luxury treatment rooms for massage, facials, and body treatments, a private outdoor whirlpool with a heated deck, spa relaxation areas, private men's and women's locker rooms with traditional cedar saunas, and a salon equipped for manicure, pedicure, and hair services.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

ยท Provide consistent, professional facial treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.

ยท Analyze guests' skin and recommend appropriate facial treatments and home care products.

ยท Explain treatments and retail products to guests and promote retail sales.

ยท Perform waxing services while following all safety and sanitation standards.

ยท Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies before each shift.

ยท Maintain treatment rooms, work areas, and spa facilities in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.

ยท Submit supply requests to the Spa Manager to ensure product availability.

ยท Stay current on industry trends, products, services, and treatment techniques.

ยท Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and maintain positive guest relationships.

ยท Be knowledgeable about all spa services, retail products, promotions, and Tailwater Lodge amenities.

ยท Uphold all sanitation, sterilization, and safety standards in accordance with New York State regulations and spa policies.

ยท Handle confidential guest information with professionalism and discretion.

ยท Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.

ยท Report maintenance or guest concerns promptly to the Spa Manager.

ยท Support the spa's hospitality philosophy by working collaboratively with all team members.

ยท Resolve guest concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.

ยท Maintain accurate property information through daily email and internal communications.

ยท Comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

ยท Current New York State Esthetics/Cosmetology License required.

ยท Skilled in professional skincare treatments and facial waxing.

ยท Previous experience in a luxury spa or salon environment preferred.

ยท Friendly, professional, and guest-focused personality.

ยท Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

ยท Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
