Fire Alarm Technician


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our safety and security team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Your expertise will help protect lives and property by ensuring our fire alarm systems operate reliably and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

- Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems in new and existing buildings

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fire alarm equipment

- Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in fire alarm systems

- Ensure all fire alarm systems comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations

- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and system modifications

- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and safety personnel to coordinate system installations and upgrades

- Stay updated on the latest fire safety regulations and technological advancements


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a fire alarm technician or in a similar role

- Knowledge of fire alarm system components, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques

- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, local fire safety regulations)

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
