What You'll Do

Financial Accounting & Month-End Close

• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

• Analyze financial activity and investigate variances

• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports


Cash Management

• Perform daily bank reconciliations

• Monitor cash activity

• Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity reporting


Loan & Settlement Accounting

• Reconcile loan funding and settlement accounts

• Support accounting for lending transactions

• Research and resolve discrepancies


Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Assist with invoice processing, billing, collections, and account maintenance


Compliance & Internal Controls

• Prepare audit schedules

• Support internal/external audits

• Strengthen internal controls


Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify automation opportunities

• Improve workflows using AI

• Participate in ERP enhancements

• Recommend operational improvements

What Success Looks Like


First 90 Days

• Learn our systems

• Own assigned reconciliations

• Participate in month-end close

• Build relationships across departments


First Year

• Independently manage key reconciliations

• Lead process improvements

• Support automation initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (internships considered)

• Strong accounting knowledge

• Strong analytical skills

• Attention to detail

• Intermediate Excel skills


Preferred

• Month-end close experience

• Account reconciliations

• NetSuite or ERP experience

• Financial services or lending experience

• Internal controls/audit support


Bonus

• CPA eligible or pursuing CPA

• Public accounting experience

• Automation/AI experience

• US GAAP familiarity


Professional Development
