The internship will be a general Finance internship that will provide an opportunity to work in the Controllership function of American Express Finance. This internship position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.

    Minimum Qualifications
        Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program
        Students must have a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028

        Complete a project solving a real business challenge for the organization
        Participate in other initiatives and projects as assigned
        Assist with monthly general ledger close activities including completing journal entries and account reconciliations
        Assist in producing and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial reports
        Perform variance analysis and analytical procedures for assigned general ledger accounts
        Establish relationships and partner with subject matter experts to key to Controllership accounting activities
