As an Line Clearance Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of AES's transmission and distribution system. In this position, you will provide administrative, financial, and operational support to the Vegetation Management team, helping ensure that work is properly coordinated, documented, and completed efficiently.
You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders, supporting activities such as invoice processing, budget tracking, permitting, and customer inquiries. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities will help the team deliver safe and reliable service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage invoice processing, billing support, and related documentation while assisting with budget tracking, cost reporting, and financial coordination for the Vegetation Management department.
  • Prepare, submit, and track required permits and supporting documentation to help ensure Vegetation Management work can proceed efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
  • Receive, document, and route customer inquiries to the appropriate AES personnel or contractor contacts, helping ensure timely follow-up and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Additional Skills:
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Possesses strong computer skills and the ability to use business systems, spreadsheets, email, and document management tools; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Maintains a results-oriented and self-motivated approach, with the ability to prioritize assignments, follow through on tasks, and work effectively with limited direct supervision.
  • Brings bookkeeping, budgeting, or financial tracking experience, with the ability to support invoice review, cost tracking, and routine budget-related administrative tasks preferred.
