Job description

MRI Technologist

Work with a great team and cutting-edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter. This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety.

This job provides:

  • Environmental balance - 1.5-2 techs per scanner.
  • Focus around MRI safety.
  • Creative work schedule and more time outside of work.
  • Lots of variety - rotation through both clinics and Regions Hospital.
  • Holiday rotation.

Work Schedule:

  • Evening shift, with one weekend shift/month, approximately one day of call/month, and holiday rotation.

Required Qualifications:

  • One year of Radiologic Technologist clinical experience.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registered as an MRI Technologist with the ARRT.
  • BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.

Additional Information:

This is a non-union 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) evening shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $41.51-$57.82 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits. Our benefits include medical and dental insurance (which begin on the first day of the month following start), 401k with match, disability insurance, fertility benefits, tuition reimbursement, educational reimbursement toward continuing education, and we are a qualified non-profit employer under the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. We offer an onsite employee fitness center and an onsite employee clinic to make it more convenient for our staff to get the care they need.
