In order to strengthen our Human Resources team we are looking to hire a Human Resources Intern, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.  

In this internship the Human Resource Intern will provide administrative support to the HR department by managing day-to-day tasks and serve as the first point of contact for the company.

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and create a professional, welcoming first impression.
  • Direct visitors promptly to the appropriate employee, office, or meeting room.
  • Monitor visitor access by maintaining the visitor logbook and issuing building guest badges in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area and lobby.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, including screening, answering, and forwarding incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries; coordinate outgoing shipments as needed.
  • Support meeting room scheduling and ensure reception-related supplies are maintained.

HR Administrative Duties:

  • Track expenses against the department budget and report variances as needed.
  • Manage the bill-back process for Ferrari Financial Services and Ferrari LifeStyle.
  • Follow up with vendors regarding outstanding or incorrect invoices and help resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and related HR documentation in accordance with company standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating training and development activities, including logistics, scheduling, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities, team events, and wellness programs, including ordering food, booking conference rooms, preparing agendas, and coordinating event logistics.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and helping ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain HR reports, trackers, and administrative files as requested.
  • Handle sensitive employee and business information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

In order to succeed in this challenging role Bachelor's degree. 2 years of experience in an HR Administrative role. 

The following skills are required to perform the role: Excellent customer relations skills. Excellent leadership and negotiation skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Good understanding of dealer ownership/automotive business retail model. Well-rounded background in sales and marketing and dealer business management and analysis. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment. Must have strong work ethic and integrity. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
