Description:

DOCS Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to support FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) to provide vital medical support to FEMA personnel at the FEMA Headquarters Washington, D.C. office health clinic. This role requires an active Washington, D.C. RN license. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare services.


Responsibilities:

ยท Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel individuals.

ยท Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.

ยท Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with medical protocols and standards.

ยท Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.

ยท Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to coordinate patient care and services.

ยท Educate individuals and communities on health and safety measures during disaster situations.

ยท Adhere to FEMA's policies, procedures, and guidelines related to disaster response and healthcare delivery.

Requirements:

ยท Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.

ยท Certification: Possess a BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.

ยท Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

ยท Active Washington D.C. Registered Nurse License.


Additional Requirements:

ยท Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30AM to 4:00PM with half hour lunch break. Punctuality and strictly adherence to scheduled work hours and break times is mandatory.

ยท Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work hours based on FEMA's needs and task orders.

ยท Resilience: Capacity to handle high-stress situations and work effectively.

ยท Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and the public.

ยท Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude.

ยท Federal Public Trust Background Security Check will be initiated by DOCS Health for new hire.
