Future Agent Internship State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview: This is a mentorship opportunity for someone seeking a career in the financial services industry and a desire to one day become a State Farm Agent. We offer auto insurance, homeowners insurance, renters insurance, business insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, annuities, banking products, investment advisory, financial investing services, and so many more services that can help people right here in our community with everything that helps protect or grow their assets.

Future Agent Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to existing leads or client lists to provide our various financial products and insurance services that fit their needs best
  • Communication and persuasion skills; proficiency in using Client Management software
  • Stay informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns or referrals to schedule appointments for licensed Team Members or Agent.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospects and customer interactions
  • Organizational skills to manage and track multiple leads
  • Professional and courteous telephone manners
  • Develop leadership skills and learn marketing strategies to run your own business.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to State Farm guidelines and compliance standards.


Annual Income range: $50,000 - $75,000+ including your Base Salary, plus commissions, & bonuses.

As an Agent Team Member, you will receive..

Future Agent Team Member Requirements:

  • Property and Casualty licensing strongly recommended
  • Enthusiastic personality where being kind and helping people is your number one goal.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with an Entrepreneurial Spirit who is eager to learn and comfortable making cold calls by phone or in person.
  • Ability to pass all insurance exams and eventually the Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 investment exams.
  • All level Sales, Entrepreneurial, Finance Related College Junior or College Senior for Summer OR College Graduate.
