  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and automated production equipment.
  • Perform failure analysis on equipment to establish preventative and predictive maintenance routes in compliance with Quality Systems.
  • Propose improvements and cost reduction initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Document, create and review maintenance and repair instructions.
  • Create maintenance programs for new equipment in the (CMS) Computer Maintenance System
  • Review repair and maintenance data in the (CMS) Computer Maintenance System.
  • Support inventory control of equipment spare parts and tools.
  • Monitor, update and meet company strategic maintenance goals and CMS system.
  • Work with OEM and outside contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance service. Maintain an organized, clean and safe working environment by following 6S standards.
  • Properly follow all H&M procedures and policies.
  • Use correct P.P.E. per JHA's and Job Description; required to wear safety shoes with the standard F2412 and F2413 rating. Individuals trained in NFPA 70E Arc Flash are required to wear electrical hazard safety shoes with the F2412EH and F2413EH rating.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including Idea System.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsible for own work and not normally required to direct or supervise other personnel, but may occasionally instruct, show or train other employees how to perform the work.

Requirements
  • Have knowledge of CNC controls, mechanics and computers.
  • Lock-out Tag-out and Arc Flash Trained.
  • Able to work Saturday and/or Sunday to when business needs require.
  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred; three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education/training may be acceptable.
  • Ability to read ladder diagrams, schematics, manuals and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, technical instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
