Job description

Position Summary:
The Accountant at Amphenol Industrial Operations is a position that will focus on invoice and expense report processing, payroll processing entries, supplier information alignment and requests, among other general accounting tasks. This role requires an organized individual that understands accounting principles, has moderate to strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable invoices
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payment
Maintain vendor records including contact information and payment terms
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Assist account reconciliations
Month-end journal entry inputs

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Internship experience in accounting/Finance
Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards (preferred)

Knowledge/Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
