Join our Team as an Enterprise Data Architecture Intern!
The Role:
We're seeking a motivated Enterprise Data Architecture Intern to join our team for Summer 2027! This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things technologies, and modern data platforms.
You'll work on meaningful projects that help shape how TMHNA collects, integrates, governs, visualizes, and uses data. Based on your technical background and interests, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects involving data architecture, data integration, telematics and Internet of Things data, data quality and governance, artificial intelligence and machine learning, or architecture visualization.
You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders while gaining real-world experience with modern enterprise technology and data practices. Throughout the summer, you'll have the opportunity to deliver a tangible project, prototype, assessment, or solution that makes an impact on the business.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Evaluate and document enterprise data sources, systems, integrations, and data flows while identifying opportunities to improve how data is collected and used.
  • Support the design and development of data architecture solutions, including data integration, data products, data pipelines, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Analyze Internet of Things and telematics data to identify opportunities for operational and business insights.
  • Support data governance, quality, documentation, and visualization initiatives, including data catalogs, data dictionaries, data lineage, and architecture diagrams.
  • Explore and develop proof-of-concept solutions involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and emerging data technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex technical information into practical solutions and clear visualizations.

What We're Looking For:
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
  • Available to work full-time onsite for the duration of the Summer 2027 internship.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in enterprise data, analytics, architecture, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things technologies, or emerging technologies.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience or coursework involving Python, SQL, databases, cloud technologies, application programming interfaces, data visualization, data modeling, Git, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or Internet of Things technologies.
  • Exposure to data pipelines, data integration, data engineering, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience creating technical diagrams, dashboards, or other data visualizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Eagerness to learn unfamiliar technologies and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a diverse team.

Where and When You'll Work:
  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule-collaborate in person at our Columbus, IN or Greene, NY office and work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.

What You'll Get in Return:
Wage - $20.00 - $30.00+ per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
Early Career Benefits:
