What we're looking for...
  • Design modern 5G connectivity solutions, including complex private core and edge compute as features and capabilities that help customers meet their expressed business outcomes.
  • Develop scalable and repeatable network architectures to deliver high-performing, highly reliable, and highly secure wireless services to our customers.
  • Stay informed of regulatory and compliance requirements changes and adapt our reference architectures accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted, unbiased advisor to customers, providing strategic insights to help achieve their business goals through our technology.
  • Emphasize the value of licensed spectrum and scalability of neutral host networks to private networks, edge compute, and beyond.
  • Review, validate, and approve network designs and provide feedback. Revise designs where applicable
  • Build and present design packages to customers in partnership with other Verizon stakeholders.
  • Explore and explain how future solution enablement is possible through Verizon's agile and modern network architecture.
  • Help customers extract maximum value out of the network by advising and supporting multi-carrier, device, and application onboarding.
  • Partner with sales and specialists during offer discussions to ensure the value of Verizon's network methodology is clear to customers.
  • Work closely with network and service delivery teams to ensure the cohesive execution of a build.
  • Be the voice of the customer and the market.
You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Eight or more years of experience in the tech industry with experience in pre-sales, customer-facing consulting, or other relevant technical expertise.
  • Experience in architecting and developing large cellular network solutions for small, medium, and large enterprises and/or government agencies.
  • Experience with designing 4G/5G/CBRS wireless technologies, software-defined networks, and cloud and edge computing architectures.
  • Experience with designing distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small-cell-based In-Building systems.
  • Experience and knowledge about Wi-Fi and a strong familiarity with the concept of private networking, neutral host networking, and hybrid (public/private) network architectures.
  • Strong technical acumen in 5G network architecture and end-to-end solution discussions including supported devices and applications.
  • Deep knowledge of IT/OT processes and development of enterprise technical strategy.
  • Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects or deals under tight timelines.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the US and abroad.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Master's degree in engineering or advanced network certifications and experience.
  • IBWave Level 2 or above certification
  • Deep understanding of 3GPP Specifications for 5G, specifically Rel-16+
  • Direct experience working with wireless network integrators and RAN OEMs like Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, and Celona.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions for digital transformation.
  • Experience with onboarding domestic and international mobile network operators onto neutral host networks.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $149,000.00 - $286,000.00.
