Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Business Management team in Century City. This role is ideal for someone with a background in public accounting or business management who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and building strong client relationships.
As an Account Manager, you will oversee client financial activities, coordinate with professional advisors, and serve as a key point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll have the opportunity to combine technical accounting knowledge with meaningful client interaction while supporting individuals and businesses across the Entertainment, Sports, and Media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-charge bookkeeping for entertainment and business management clients
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, financial schedules, and cash flow reports
  • Process accounts payable/receivable, client deposits, and 1099s
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and banking partners professionally
  • Identify and resolve accounting issues and non-routine transactions
  • Partner with Assistant Account Managers and Seniors to deliver high-quality work
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in business management
  • Experience at a CPA or business management firm preferred
  • Proficiency in Datafaction (or similar systems)
  • Strong understanding of both computerized and manual accounting processes
  • Notary Public (or willingness to obtain) preferred
