Arthrex is actively searching for a Manager - Manufacturing Engineering to lead a team supporting our Suture Assembly Manufacturing Operations in Ave Maria, Florida. This position provides leadership for manufacturing engineers responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving processes across suture needle attaching, suture assembly, automation, fixture design, and engineering change management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and enhancing quality, throughput, and process capability within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This position requires a bachelors degree in engineering, 7 years of manufacturing engineering/manufacturing operations experience and 3 years supervisory or management experience. Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field or equivalent Arthrex experience required
  • 7 years Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing Operations experience required
  • 3 years supervisory or management experience required
  • Medical Device Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Full working knowledge in Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Techniques.
  • Demonstrates process improvement skills.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Knowledge of all manufacturing machines.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
