Carris Reels is 100% employee owned that manufacturers reels of different materials including plywood, plastic and wood. Our Enfield, CT location is looking for a material handler to join the team on 2nd shift. 

You will assist in moving material throughout the plant using a sit down forklift. This includes but not limited to keeping the productions line full with wood needed to run job orders, moving empty pallets, moving trash containers.
 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 1-3 years of sit-down forklift experience working in a manufacturing facility
  • Proven track record of good attendance
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Good math skills, especially measurement skills, including fractions
  • Initiative
  • Must be able to work overtime on Friday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am

Regular hours are Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am (plus overtime required)
