Go Fish Digital is an engineering-forward performance marketing agency specializing in SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), its Barracuda AI platform, social commerce, and conversion-focused creative.

About the role
As an Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with client goals. From developing strategy to designing and writing compelling emails and analyzing performance metrics, you'll play a key role in shaping successful email campaigns. You will own the email marketing strategy from start to finish, ensuring every campaign is optimized for engagement, conversions, and retention.
What you'll do
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies that drive engagement and sales for clients.
  • Design and craft visually compelling emails, ensuring they are optimized for mobile and desktop.
  • Manage audience segmentation, automation workflows, and A/B testing to maximize performance.
  • Analyze key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and create data-driven reports.
  • Communicate email marketing strategies and performance insights to clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, email marketing tools, and emerging best practices.

What You Bring
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with experience creating engaging email content.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot).
  • Expertise in email design (specific experience using Canva preferred).
  • Experience with email automation workflows, segmentation strategies, and personalization tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present email strategies and results to clients.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with eCommerce clients, including lifecycle marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and customer retention strategies.
  • Understanding of email's role in broader digital marketing strategies, including paid media and SEO.
  • Google Analytics or HubSpot certification.
  • Familiarity with deliverability best practices, including domain authentication and spam filters.
