POSITION:
TEMPORARY LECTURERS IN Ed D. - The Program of Ed D. invites applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments. Candidates selected will teach one or some combination of P12 and community college specialist courses. This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding and need.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An EdD or PhD is required. Other minimum qualifications include:
• Experience in educational leadership
• Current knowledge and experience with policies and initiatives affecting education, including K-12, community college, and higher education.
• Evidence of effective teaching practices
• Ability to work with students who are working professionals of diverse language and cultural backgrounds.

COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a member of the 23-campus CSU System, we offer an extremely competitive benefits package.
Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others are normally placed in Range 2. Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules are prorated based on the number of units assigned and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. The Department of Advanced Studies in Education offers professional education programs in Counselor Education, School Administration, and Curriculum & Instruction. The Department offers basic and advanced credentials, master's degrees and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Programs have State accreditation through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).
