Job description

Title:Trainer/Content Developer for Child Welfare Training
Location:Research Triangle Park, Durham, NC 27709
Duration: 10+ Months 
Best Pay - $30/hr on w2 or $34/hr on 1099 all-inclusive
 
The agency needs a trainer/content developer to support Child Welfare training modules for the Child Welfare Information System. You'll analyze system functionality, create classroom and eLearning courses, and deliver engaging training for program staff at all levels. Collaborate with training leads, business teams, developers, and experts to design materials, including Adobe FrameMaker templates/scripts, and maintain content for adult learners.
Travel: Up to 30% statewide, including some evenings/weekends. Expenses reimbursed per state protocol (mileage, per diem, direct-billed hotels).
Key Responsibilities and Required Skills (3+ Years Each Unless Noted):
Design curriculum and training materials for adult learners.
Understand social services programs for county/regional/state staff.
Research case management software to build effective learning materials (highly desired).
Schedule, prepare, and QA training materials; manage facilities/registration.
Collaborate with developers, SMEs, and tech support.
Business analysis; MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
LMS tech (e.g., Moodle, XML, HTML); computer-based training design.
Tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Captivate, Camtasia, Photoshop, Visio.
Create interactive materials with simulations/media presentations.
Lead in-person, virtual, and webinar sessions.
Evaluate progress, provide curriculum feedback.
