Job Description

A Fortune 500 manufacturing and aerospace giant looking for Senior Instructional Designer who will be responsible for the designing, developing and implementing programs that align the workforce with key business strategies and initiatives.

Primary responsibilities:

Use of appropriate interviewing techniques with employees all organizational levels to identify skill/knowledge gaps.

Develops Learning Plans to engage participants, address skills and knowledge gaps; identify and apply interactive learning methodology to address these gaps.

Follows, creates and implements programs that align employees with business goals.

Recommends the most effective training and development systems for the type of knowledge to be captured and transferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

3-6 years' experience, designing, developing, technical engineering, computer-based/web-based and instructor-led instructional materials

Instructional design capabilities adapting content from one delivery format to another (instructor-led to web-based training)

Experience in adult learning and course/curriculum design

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and knowledge of eLearning software such as Articulate, Flash, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Live Meeting, synchronous tools, Photoshop
