Job Summary 

This internship offers a hands-on experience in product development within Wipfli’s IP Product Engineering group. Interns will support the development and customization of Wipfli’s Concur product, gaining exposure to the full software lifecycle—from understanding product architecture to client implementation and support. 


Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the development of software applications, including writing and testing code 
  • Work closely with experienced developers and participate in team meetings 
  • Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities within software & connectors 
  • Software configuration and development, leveraging leading edge technology 
  • Comment code regarding functional purpose and design nuances 
  • Assist the team in R&D and foundational efforts to position the team to deliver innovative solutions to the client 
  • Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables 
  • Suggest and implement improvements to existing processes and workflows 
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from senior mentors to enhance professional and technical skills 

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related major focus.  
  • Strong academic performance, 3.0 GPA minimum within your major coursework 
  • Experience with .NET, python, Javascript preferred 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong propensity for innovative thinking balanced with the disciplined rigor for following proven methodologies 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Ability to build and foster professional business relationships  
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
