Become part of the Labor Management team, designing, building, and delivering a robust application that supports Publix business areas in managing labor activities such as forecasting, time attendance, and scheduling. In this role, you will be seen as the product champion - leading the technical strategy, driving the delivery of a highly available, resilient, and scalable labor management application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the technical team is meeting business goals.
Location: Hybrid (Lakeland, FL): To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Your Impact:
  • Design and deliver scalable applications, APIs, databases, and event-driven solutions using React, .NET, SQL, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, support, and enhance enterprise applications.
  • Lead technical delivery for multiple initiatives while ensuring adherence to development standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to drive engineering excellence.
  • Participate in Agile planning, refinement, review, and retrospective activities.
  • Develop and optimize Kafka-based integrations and real-time data processing solutions.
  • Improve database performance through SQL tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
