• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches and tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to determine diagnoses and create effective interventions.

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients by continuously assessing their mental health and effectiveness of treatment strategies, making adjustments as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment records in line with regulatory compliance and operational procedures.

• Engage collaboratively with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment plans which address their diverse needs, aiming for optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate with external referral options, serving as a bridge between patients and necessary service providers to ensure seamless access to care.

• Provide supervision, education, and mentoring to interns and new staff, fostering their development as skilled social work professionals.

• Participate in team meetings and clinical discussions to share insights and collaborate on best practices, thus enhancing team performance and patient care quality.

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges. You will cater to clients seeking outpatient care, focusing primarily on therapy delivered through telehealth formats. Understanding and respecting cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances will be crucial to forming effective therapeutic relationships.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.

• Physical capability to perform necessary job functions, including standing, walking, and lifting items up to 25 pounds.

• Understanding of telehealth practices and familiarity with electronic healthcare record systems is preferred.

• Experience providing mental health care via telehealth platforms.

• Skills in crisis intervention and patient safety assessment.

• Experience in team-based care and collaborative treatment planning.

Woodcliff Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
