SCOPE OF WORK
CARE is seeking a dedicated intern to support the Humanitarian Affairs team for a 10-week period, working 8-10 hours per week. The intern will play a crucial role in analyzing consultation data collected under Phase I of the inter-agency CARE-led GBV Digital Minimum Standards (DMS) initiative - a global effort to co-develop safety standards for technology used in violence against women and girls (VAWG) programming in humanitarian settings. Specifically, the intern will support data analysis and evidence synthesis from consultations with 5,000+ women and girls across 7 humanitarian contexts on the safe and ethical use of technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Consultations, data analysis and briefs summarizing key findings and thematic trends across participating humanitarian contexts;
  • Contributions to the global DMS synthesis report, including supporting data visualizations, outlining key findings from consultations (including FGDs and key informant interviews)
