Job Description:
Davenport Asset Management and Davenport Equity Research are hiring two summer interns for 2027 at our Richmond, Virginia headquarters. Davenport Asset Management manages over $10 billion in assets across several proprietary equity, fixed income, and asset allocation strategies. Davenport Equity Research provides fundamental analysis on hundreds of individual stocks and serves as a valuable resource to our 200+ financial advisors.
The internship will concentrate on investment research and candidate will have exposure to both the Asset Management and Equity Research departments. Candidates will support senior analysts with financial modeling, report writing, and fundamental analysis. Competitive salary and schedule flexibility are available.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a rising college Junior or Senior
  • Interest in investment research and management

  • Background in Finance or Economics
  • Proficient in Excel with superior writing skills
