Job description

Visa is a world leader in payments technology, facilitating transactions between consumers, merchants, financial institutions and government entities across more than 200 countries and territories, dedicated to uplifting everyone, everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid.

At Visa, you'll have the opportunity to create impact at scale - tackling meaningful challenges, growing your skills and seeing your contributions impact lives around the world.

Join Visa and do work that matters - to you, to your community, and to the world. Progress starts with you.

Job Description

Are you a recent grad who loves solving problems with code? Visa's Corporate IT organization is looking for an enthusiastic Asset Management Analyst to join our End User Operations (EUO) team. This is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills in a real-world enterprise environment while learning the business side of a Fortune 500 company.

In this role, you'll support the full lifecycle of IT assets for our 40,000+ global end users - and help build the automation, tools, and data pipelines that make that process smarter and more efficient. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and business partners in Finance, Procurement, and IT leadership, gaining broad exposure across the organization.

This is not a traditional IT support role. We want curious, motivated engineers who get excited about finding a clunky manual process and writing something elegant to fix it.

What You'll Do:

Software Development & Automation:

  • Write scripts and build internal tools that automate asset lifecycle workflows - procurement, provisioning, refresh, and decommissioning
  • Help develop data pipelines to keep inventory accurate across multiple systems (ServiceNow, SCCM, procurement platforms)
  • Contribute to dashboards and reporting tools that give real-time visibility into asset inventory and compliance
  • Identify manual, repetitive processes and help automate them end-to-end
  • Learn and apply engineering best practices - code review, documentation, version control

Asset Management Operations:

  • Support the full IT asset lifecycle: receiving, tracking, refreshing, and decommissioning hardware
  • Assist with inventory audits across Visa sites and help ensure records stay accurate
  • Coordinate with logistics, end users, and IT support teams on asset delivery and refresh cycles

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Help produce monthly and quarterly inventory reports and support compliance documentation
  • Track operational metrics and surface trends or anomalies to the team
  • Learn how enterprise procurement and financial controls work in a highly regulated environment

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and vendor partners - great experience for building cross-functional communication skills
  • Bring fresh ideas and flag process gaps; we want you to speak up and build solutions

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Some hands-on coding experience - coursework, projects, internships, or personal work all count

Proficiency in Python or another scripting/programming language

Comfortable working in Excel (formulas, pivot tables)

Curiosity about how large-scale IT operations work

Internship or project experience with automation, data pipelines, or internal tooling

Familiarity with APIs, SQL, or enterprise platforms like ServiceNow or Jira

Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

Knowledge of PC/Mac hardware

Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical teammates

Self-starter who'd rather build a fix than write a ticket about the problem
