Interns learn about evaluating the value and risk of troubled assets, devising strategies for recovery or restructuring, and supporting senior managers in making investment decisions. The role typically involves research, financial analysis, and exposure to legal and operational aspects of distressed asset management within banks, investment firms, or asset management companies.
