Summary of Job Duties:The Chairperson provides leadership to the social work program, teaches courses in the social work program, and have administrative responsibilities which include, but are not limited to: budgeting, writing reports, supervising social work faculty, chair curriculum committee and social work faculty meetings, chair program's admission committee, chair accreditation process, and engage in research, scholarly activities, and service.
Qualifications:

PhD/DSW in Social Work or in a related field and MSW from a CSWE accredited pro-gram with a minimum of two years post-MSW degree practice experience in social work practice. ABD candidates will be considered. College-level teaching experience and knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards preferred. Candidates should have an ability to teach across the undergraduate generalist social work curriculum, and develop online courses that align with the Council on Social Work Education standards.
