At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. At Easterseals PORT Health, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Intern to join our team in Greenville at our Facility Based Detox Center.
This isn't just a internship - you will be influencing change and shaping futures as a intern in our shared mission of helping people reach their full potential.
Your Role in Our Mission
Easterseals PORT Health provides one-on-one and group counseling for clients with substance abuse and/or behavioral issues. As an intern, you will complete your clinical rotations, practicum or internship as part of our treatment team. You will maintain clinical documentation according to program and Medicaid standards regarding service provision, assessment, and progress reports in a supportive environment focused on your growth and learning as well as patient healing. This site is a detox center that works with adults with Mental health and substance use co occurring disorders.

Internships are designed to coincide with your school curriculum.

To join our team, you must be currently enrolled in a Health and Human Sciences degree program. To be successful in your internship, you must possess the below skills:
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
