Job description

This requisition is for 2025 Summer Intern/Co-op Conversion candidates with assignment end dates from 7/1 - 9/30 to apply to be considered for the conversion process.

There are two ways you can be converted:

  1. Hiring Manager has approved headcount and a position that they wish to directly convert you to your next assignment ( no surveys required and would be initiated by Hiring Manager to NA Talent Acquisition Early Careers Team)

  2. You will receive a link to apply to the requisition from MyHR asking you to apply to the position.

OR

  1. All that are not direct conversions will be reviewed as a group based on the current function or engineering subfunction led by the Early Careers Talent Acquisition Operations and/or Talent Acquisition Coordination teams and functional recruiters (surveys required)
  2. Functional Talent Scouts (function or engineering subfunction), who are CC03 or higher employees, and have many years of experience, are selected by the business to make hiring decisions for managers. They will review all student surveys, manager surveys, education level, major, skill set, against available positions and if they see a good fit, they will either make an alignment or recommend for close out if there are no roles available.
  3. If you are aligned during one of the reviews, you will receive an email from MyHR to apply to the position.

Note - this is a new step with the implementation of MyHR for compliance purposes.

  1. Once you complete your application and attached your updated resume with your most recent Cummins experience you must submit the application.

  2. If recommended for alignment, you will receive a phone call directly from the Talent Acquisition Coordination team once we are finished with the process.

  3. If recommended for close out due to no roles available, you will receive an email from MyHR notifying you.

Please apply to this requisition to be considered in the Summer 2025 Intern/Co-op Conversion Process.
