As a Technical Program Manager Intern, you will design product architecture and develop solutions to complex technical needs, while identifying trends in product quality and performance, to deliver on the roadmap. You will drive continuous improvement in quality, profitability, supportability and delivery, and act as in-house advocate for millions of people worldwide who use Microsoft products. This opportunity will allow you to lead the development and implementation process for products and services that exceed customer expectations, work cross functionally with internal and external partners, and define or change existing features.

This is for a summer 2027 internship.
Responsibilities
  • Leads the development and implementation process for products and services typically involving large, complex cross-functional implementation with multiple internal teams or external partners.
  • Responsible for specific features in our technology solutions for the full product cycle, working on the initial feature planning and design, managing the specifications of development, and monitoring on-going operations to better understand customer experiences.
  • Works collaboratively with teammates to ensure our products exceed customer expectations, while delivering on the roadmap.
  • Communicates throughout the process to understand progress towards delivery, technical challenges, and to provide clarity on customer needs using a data driven approach.
  • Demonstrates an ability to learn and adopt relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes to leverage in your solutions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with at least one semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • Proven experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5,690.00 - $11,210.00 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $7,410.00 - $12,250.00 per month.
