Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental programs across assigned manufacturing and office locations. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations, effective permitting and reporting, and alignment with corporate environmental strategies. The Environmental Manager drives systemic improvements to fost sustainability, reduce environmental risk, support safe operations, and maintain conformance with ISO 14001 and internal governance frameworks.

  • Lead regional strategy and implementation for Environmental Programs
  • Provide coaching and support to site-level teams to implement standardized solutions and performance metrics
  • Monitor program effectiveness through reporting, audits, and benchmarking. Report trends and improvement opportunities to regional and global HSE leadership
  • Represent the Americas in global working groups and contribute to corporate Environmental and Sustainability initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert and strategic leader for all aspects of Environmental Management including exposures, releases, carbon accounting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deploy standardized tools, procedures, and training programs to support consistent management across all sites.
  • Support production engineering and design teams by integrating environmental considerations into equipment and process design.
  • Lead risk assessments and program audits at a regional level to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Use digital tools and platforms to streamline associate engagement, reporting, and feedback.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with data visualization or wellness tracking platforms is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience: Five (5)+ years in environmental compliance or environmental management within manufacturing.

Preferred: ISO 14001 implementation experience, multi-site responsibility, and prior regulatory agency interaction.

Supervisory Responsibilities: May supervise interns, specialists, or provide indirect leadership to site-level teams.

Other Working Conditions:

Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and occasionally internationally.

Physical Requirements: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to work 40 - 60 hours per week.

Work Environment: Working in an office environment with exposure to manufacturing areas. Hybrid work Flexibility.
