Business Analytics Summer Scholar 

• This Summer Scholar is responsible fortransforming data into actionable insights through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis. This role supports comprehensive research, statistical analysis, and data management to inform business decisions and drive value across the organization. The position also offers opportunities for specialization in specific business areas or advanced analytical techniques. Byleveragingstrong analytical skills anda keenattention to detail,this professional playsa crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting organizational growth.

Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice serves government agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and other public sector organizations. Teams work across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation efforts to help clients improve mission outcomes and organizational performance. Professionals in the practice have opportunities to build specialized experience while working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. 

 
Qualifications 

Required: 

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2028 pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Analytics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Technology majors, or a related/equivalent program 

• Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required) 

• You must reside within a commutable distance (e.g. 100-mile radius) of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required 

• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment. 

Preferred: 

• 3.4 cumulative GPA preferred 

• Internship, project, or coursework experience in accounting, analytics, applied math, computer science, data science, finance, statistics, or technology.
