BAE Systems needs an experienced Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS) Engineering Manager. The right candidate will be the Logistics Engineering Point of contact within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS). Included in this role, the individual will be responsible for data management, spares and support equipment management, and provisioning to directly support customer needs. This position is located in Tucson, AZ and due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the nature of the work to be performed in this particular role, it will be performed almost entirely on site. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Secret level clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI or higher clearance levels.
* Experience with developing and implementing Sustainment, planning, and shaping of customer support strategies for military programs.
* Knowledge of contract documents (e.g., SOW, CDRL, DIDs).
* Experience with maintaining organizational budgets, material purchasing, financial reporting
* Experience in personnel resource planning and tasking assignments in support of a range of concurrent programs/projects across the sector.
* Experience communicating directly with internal and external customer personnel and participating in and presenting at informal meetings and formal milestone reviews.
* Monitor and develop strategies for aircraft and equipment management to sustain the health of the fleet
* Initiates studies and investigations and performs statistical analysis
* Provides findings and recommendations to managers and senior leaders
* Presents information to help senior leadership assess the health of the aircraft and equipment
* Informs managers of significant factors affecting the mission and unit readiness.
* Manages and operates maintenance metrics databases
* Evaluates RSPL authorizations against current on-hand and on-order quantities
* Analyzes and provides aircraft and support equipment sparing recommendations
* Sustains On-the-Job Training, Ancillary Training, Aircraft Maintenance Metrics, Aircraft Support Equipment, Supply Analysis, Manpower, Administrative Rosters, COMSEC, Security and Mobility databases.
* Executes local business purchase processes
* Point person for compiling and initiating project specific consumables and sustainment procurements Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Working understanding of the DoW 12 Integrated Product Support Elements
* Experience in managing Logistics Engineering tasks including: Product Support Analysis, maintenance planning, LORA, Sparing, LCC, Training development, Tech Publications, Sustainment and post-production support.
* Understanding of Air Force Material Command/Air Force Life Cycle Management Center practices and policies. 6+ years of experience in these roles.
* Working understanding of reliability, maintainability and safety impacts on product support.
* Experience with Configuration Management and the Engineering Change Process.
* Experience with Network and Information Systems Administration with Security+ certification
* Cost Account Manager/support - Oversight of Logistics tasks and program planning.
* Knowledge or experience with U.S. Air Force's Big Safari.
* Knowledge or experience with Compass Call programs.
* Experience with Model Based Product Support.
* Experience with database query tools for ad hoc analysis, such as SQL, Power Query, Pivot tables
* Experience with EAGLE LSA toolset and OPUS Suite.
* Temporarily supports GoldLink infrastructure on site Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
