Manufacturing Quality EngineerIntroduction:

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of manufacturing processes within the organization. They are responsible for analyzing root causes of quality issues, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support investigations into quality issues such as scrap, rework, and customer complaints
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions using quality tools like 8D, fishbone diagram, and FMEA
  • Monitor and continuously improve manufacturing processes by analyzing data and conducting risk analysis
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and operations team to enhance process capability and reduce variation
  • Analyze quality data such as defect rates, process capability, and SPC charts and prepare reports for management
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including First Pass Yield and PPM
  • Provide training to operators on quality standards and inspection techniques
  • Support cross-functional teams with quality-related expertise
Requirements:Required:
