Xcite Automotive is hiring a Service Washer at our partner dealership in Clearwater, FL!

Job Description: As a Service Washer at Xcite Automotive, you will play an important role in preparing dealership vehicles for frontline presentation through high-quality vehicle washing, cleaning, and appearance services. This position is responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards in a fast-paced dealership and reconditioning environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is motivated to ensure every vehicle is clean, presentable, and ready for the next stage of the reconditioning process. The Service Washer must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and rinse vehicle exteriors using proper washing techniques, equipment, and cleaning products.
• Clean exterior windows, mirrors, door jambs, wheels, tires, and other exterior surfaces as required.
• Remove dirt, dust, mud, road grime, and other contaminants from vehicle exteriors.
• Perform basic interior cleaning, including wiping down surfaces and removing visible debris.
• Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt, dust, debris, and unwanted materials.
• Inspect vehicles after washing to identify areas requiring additional cleaning or attention.
• Safely operate pressure washers, hoses, vacuums, air tools, and other vehicle-washing equipment.
• Properly mix, use, and store cleaning chemicals and detailing products according to company procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized wash bays, equipment, and surrounding work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and immediately report damaged equipment, hazards, or safety concerns to management.
• Work efficiently to meet dealership production schedules and vehicle turnaround expectations.
• Assist Detailers and other team members as needed to maintain workflow and consistent quality standards.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and meet dealership-ready appearance expectations before moving to the next stage of the process.

Minimum Qualifications / Must-Haves

• Previous vehicle washing, detailing, janitorial, custodial, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate pressure washers, vacuums, hoses, and other cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership or reconditioning environment.
• Reliable transportation and full-time availability, including weekends if needed.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications / Nice-to-Haves

• Previous automotive washing or detailing experience.
• Experience working in a dealership, car wash, automotive service, or vehicle reconditioning environment.
• Familiarity with pressure washers, shop vacuums, air compressors, and automotive cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of automotive cleaning chemicals and proper application techniques.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to clean multiple vehicles per day.
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Experience maintaining wash bays, equipment, and work areas.
• Ability to identify areas of a vehicle that require additional cleaning or attention.
