Job description

Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Quality Intern to take part in our Summer Internship Program.
Quality Interns can expect to:
  • Assist engineers and quality professionals with routine tasks and reporting, collecting data, and structured data analysis
  • Support all continuous improvement quality initiatives projects
  • Complete time studies of existing quality professionals and implement improvements to drive improved efficiencies within department
  • Evaluate and streamline data collection storage of quality department
  • Develop automatic reporting of quality data real time
  • Monitor quality professional tasks and mitigate any safety risks of completing the tasks
  • Complete small projects as needed by quality manager or director

Requirements:
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program and must have successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework or be an upcoming Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
