CNC Operator – PCB Manufacturing

Location: Addison, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with experience in the printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will operate CNC drilling, routing, milling, or profiling equipment to produce high-quality PCB components while meeting production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines used in PCB manufacturing, including drilling, routing, milling, and profiling equipment.
  • Load materials, tooling, drill bits, panels, and programs according to production instructions.
  • Read and follow work orders, technical drawings, blueprints, setup sheets, and process documentation.
  • Inspect completed boards and panels for dimensions, hole quality, routing accuracy, defects, and conformance to specifications.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments, tool changes, offsets, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate production, inspection, and machine records.
  • Follow ESD, clean-room, safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Work with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to meet daily output goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience operating CNC machines in PCB, electronics, precision manufacturing, or a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with CNC drilling, routing, milling, or profiling processes.
  • Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, or vision inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
