Job Summary:

They are seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to support and manage data center technologies, ensuring rapid response to technical issues in a fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support and manage data center technologies across multiple locations in the Chicago Illinois area.
• Ensure rapid response to technical issues and deployments in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Design and optimize systems that process massive amounts of data, ensuring high performance and stability.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, network architects, technical analysts, and software developers to create competitive edge through best-in-class technical solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong understanding of technology fundamentals in a critical infrastructure environment
• Experience with server and/or networking installations, implementations and/or deployments required
• Knowledge of structured cable environments for high-capacity large scale compute environments
• 1+ years in technical field support, systems administration, or data center operations
• Solid knowledge of Windows and networking; basic Linux/Unix skills a plus
• Experience with server/network installations and deployments
• Valid driver’s license for local travel
• Ability to lift/move up to 65+ pounds
• Understanding of critical IT facilities infrastructure (power, cooling)
